Got Something For You - Best Coast and Wavves

I have been on a very long break from everything. I have a fair amount of things to say in this post, so here we go:

First of all, it's Christmas. Even though I'm not a very Christmas-ey person, I've attempted to compile a list of songs about Christmas by searching in my iTunes the word "Christmas". I found nothing. The only song I could think about on the top of my head that was about Christmas but didn't have the word "Christmas" in the title was, this one - the one that now holds the title of this post. Yes, I didn't get a Christmas present because my parents are very Asian and very Buddhist. Yes, we pretended that a banana tree in our backyard was a Christmas tree. And yes, I sent out Christmas letters to my friends who live all over the globe.

Secondly, Google now sings to me. I've been on Google for the past hour or so, playing with the little colored buttons that I find extremely fascinating since I've always thought Google has been failing to become the least bit interesting (this has proven me wrong!).

Lastly, I have found new bands and new songs that are to be posted in the near future (I promise!!). So for now, Merry Christmas everyone, and have a lovely, lovely one.

This Charming Man - The Smiths

here's a picture of Bombay Bicycle Club from rosielord's photostream

I'm so sorry I haven't been posting much lately - just been a bit busy. You know when you have something really important to do, and you really really really need to do it? Well yes, that has been happening for a few weeks now (thus my horrible posting schedule).

And in these few weeks, I have been studying and trying to get things done while all my other friends are out partying and celebrating the end of the year. Of course, I'm the one left without a social life and kept indoors with all the books. I think I'm starting to become an anti-social bitch without a life or actual good grades.

I've also been listening to an awful lot of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! lately. I'm not a type of person who would listen to CYHSY! a lot, but I do have them on my iPod and I admire them. They're very cool with the vocals and the little guitar riffs here and there, but their music also seems to light up my mood. I feel as if I do make less and less playlists everyday, but I have to apologize - it's because of my lack of time.

I Don't Know How To Love - The Drums

Each day I sit here wondering what I'm going to blog about. I often think of interesting topics to write about during the day, but when I actually get to the computer I just forget everything. I was planning to go out and develop all the film from my disposable cameras, but instead I ended up tramming to JB and getting the new Drums album.

Portamento was exactly what I expected it to be. A bit more upbeat, a bit more mature, and a bit less reverb. I may or may not have mentioned this before, but they have bass now! Before it was all drums and catchy guitar riff, but Portamento changed my view of The Drums.

I've been on a hiatus lately, just caught up with studying and having a life, but I think I'm going to get back to making playlists soon. So just count this as a quick update to let you all know I'm still alive, even though I've caught a cold. A few days of not going to school leaves me to endless days of watching Mean Girls and Mean Girls 2. Do not watch Mean Girls 2. I'm warning all Regina George fans out there who expect a similar Tina Fey-esque humor in Mean Girls 2.

ciao x

Haby Bay - Bye Bye Bicycle

google

I realized I should talk more about music since I've been contemplating a lot about actually writing about bands and different artists. You all know I have filled up that time with pointless rants, therefore making me Queen of Procrastination.

So yes, if you have not heard of the band Bye Bye Bicycle before, I suggest you stop reading this right now and just go to their page on Myspace. Once you have an idea of what they sound like, or if you can be bothered to read about me talking about them, stay.

Bands like Bye Bye Bicycle, The Young Friends, and French Films are bringing new wave back. These of course, aren't as known as other new wave bands like The Drums (that's all I can think of right now that have a similar sound). The beachy 60s' type sound, and the use of reverb just gives people that nostalgic feel that either makes you REALLY annoyed or REALLY nostalgic. Bye Bye Bicycle has a really dreamy sound in most of their songs, and really strong bass. Whereas, The Drums doesn't have much bass (up until their recent album, Portamento), and still have remained their signature sound.

I have only 4 songs by Bye Bye Bicycle, but have already fallen deeply in love with the band. They remind me of The Smiths in the song "Northpole", for some odd reason. Myself, a Smiths fan, knows and will always know that no band can replace Morrissey's dreamy vocals and their signature sound, but the first thing I thought of when I heard this song was The Smiths.

I hate bands who copy sounds from other bands, but I'm not trying to say that all bands have to sound different and as "individual" as they can because sometimes they just turn out sounding weird. Bands these days just start copying sounds off people, I won't name any just in case you readers like them and start to feel offended, but you know what I mean. That's why new wave is so awesome! It's because everyone can be whoever they want to be, but is still heard and has a relatively "sane" sound.

I haven't said much about Bye Bye Bicycle, but if you haven't checked them about because you can't be stuffed or if you just simply don't like them, thanks for sticking around.

On A Train - Yuksek

the-perks-of-being-a-wallflower-movie-image-emma-watson-logan-lerman-01
a still from the film - which is still shooting

I think this blog has become somewhat of a failure to me. But that's just me being my pessimistic self that I am. I've been thinking of things to blog about, and it came to me - book reviews! I've never done a book review yet, so I guess I'll try one today. It might not seem like a typical professional critic's review because I have lots to say about this book, and I apologize if you readers were expecting a really expert-sounding, cool, review.

Okay, I'll get to the point. I've chosen The Perks of Being A Wallflower (1992) by Stephen Chbosky to review on, just because this book is so special to me. I read this book around three or four months ago when I was on holidays and I felt like it was important me to accomplish something (which is, to read a book). I remember looking up good reads online, and that didn't work out since I didn't find anything interesting enough for me to go out and buy. Prior to me buying the book, I had heard about it multiple times from friends and some sites on the net because of its popularity. At first, I wasn't really interested but I eventually got around to buying it anyways.

I actually downloaded it on my dad's kindle first, but I felt a bit empty since I prefer books to kindles. I went to around four or five book stores all around Bangkok, searching for it. Once I had bought it, I went home, re-read it, sat on my bed, and poured my eyes out. I was saved by the book. I have never been so head-over-heels in love with a book like this before.
Charlie's perspective of life, and how he feels "infinite" made me realize the true outlook into life (does that make sense?). Charlie is a 15 year old teenager who has just started high school. In the very beginning we find out that his best friend has committed suicide, and that Charlie doesn't actually have any friends. He meets Patrick and Sam, older kids who are into good music and cigarettes. He goes through so many phases in the book, and things us teenagers can definitely relate to. There's just this sadness and self pity in the way that Charlie writes to his anonymous friend - as the book's layout are in different letters. I won't say anything to spoil it for those of you who haven't read it (GO OUT AND BUY IT NOW), but the ending shocked me.

As you Harry Potter/Lightning Thief films fans know, they are making a movie out of this book. I've got to admit, I was a little angry when I found out they were turning it into a movie. I ignored all the harangue coming from my friends about how "Totally fricking awesome the movie is gonna be!!!". I thought it was one of those books that aren't meant to be movies, do you know what I mean? But after Longan Lerman was cast as Charlie, Emma Watson was cast as Sam, and Ezra Miller was Patrick, I realized that everything was going to be just fine. The promo pics have come out, and I'm more than glad to see the result of it - since Stephen Chbosky himself is directing the film.

This 213 page book was a gift, a true gift to me and other readers who feel the same way as I do. And I thank Stephen Chbosky for writing it, I really do.

Sorry for the short-ish post but I'll post a playlist I made to accompany the book a while back. Some of the songs were mentioned in the book, and I thought they were appropriate to add into. I never got to post it, so here it is.

Perks
1. Flightless Bird, American Mouth - Iron And Wine
2. Skinny Love - Bon Iver
3. Squealing Pigs - Admiral Fallow
6. Asleep - The Smiths
7. Brick - Ben Folds Five
7. Abandon - French Kicks
8. No Surprises - Radiohead
9. This Charming Man - The Smiths
10. Blackbird - The Beatles
11. Vapour Trail - Ride
12. MLK - U2
13. Nothing to Worry About - Peter Bjorn and John
14. Scarborough Fair - Simon & Garfunkel
15. Practice - Slow Loris
16. Landslide - Fleetwood Mac

Hope you enjoyed it, ciao x

How Soon Is Now - The Smiths

53_-ponyweb1

Before I decided to write this post, I suddenly remembered that a few weeks ago, a friend of mine had deeply insulted The Smiths. I'm no one to judge the universe's music taste, but I've got to admit I was a bit broken by her words. I was dancing in my room to "Jeane" - as I often do, and she said that Morrissey had a horrible voice, and the music made no sense. Then, she just as I was about to turn to her and tell her that she was the only person who made no sense, another one of my friends came into my room. She asked me what I was listening to, and I replied by "Why?" and she said "It's horrible!". Sometimes I want to kill my friends, but I love them nevertheless their horrible music taste.

Anyways, the other day I accidentally deleted a whole folder of playlists (maybe 10 or so), and I was very sad. I couldn't retrieve the one I had prepared for this blog post, so I thought I would just post the one that is in my 'Listen To' playlist.

1. Young Blood - The Naked And Famous
2. Trial Of The Century - French Kicks
3. Time & Place - Last Dinosaurs
4. Puddle Jumpers - Big White Clouds
5. A Postcard To Nina - Jens Lekman
6. On A Train - Yuksek
7. I Want The World To Stop - Belle & Sebastian
8. Honolulu - Last Dinosaurs
9. Feathers (Don't Change On Me) Absofacto
10. Colours - Grouplove
11. California Birds - ABADABAD
12. Alps - Last Dinosaurs

This is probably my worst playlist to date, but I'm still overcoming grief and trauma, so please give me time to recover.

I just want to talk about Jens Lekman for a bit. He's a lovely Swede, makes synth-pop music, in a cute storybook style. His songs are amazing, and I feel as if I can understand all of them. If you're a fan of him, you've probably heard "Yours Arms Around Me" in the film Whip It (2009), (it's the scene where Ellen Page and whatshisface are in the pool, making out). A few years ago when I was really into Girls Like Boys and Fallout Boy and Paramore, I hadn't really listened to the lyrics of the song but more the melody and how "cool" it sounded - even though now I know the lyrics made total nonsense. Now that I have started to understand music in a deeper level, I've started to listen closely to the lyrics. In the song "Your Arms Around Me", I especially love the bit that goes: what's broken can always be fixed, what's fixed can always be broken. How true is that!

Anyways, enough of my rambling. Have a nice week!

Weekend - Class Actress

File:The Art of Getting By Poster.jpg
On a lovely day like today, people might come across the internet and find this article. Yes, it's here! A review...

Well I finally wound up and decided I would do a movie review - sorry for the disappointment if anyone was looking to read an album review. Well I first watched the movie The Art Of Getting By (2011) just last night, on the plane to Melbourne. I have been looking forward to watching this movie for a very, very, very long time, and I couldn't seem to find it anywhere! I first downloaded the amazing soundtrack a few months ago and I was hooked. Just yesterday, I was about to risk the well being of my laptop and download the movie file filled with viruses, but I stopped myself in time. I cried of happiness as I scrolled down the pages of films on the tiny screen on the plane and found the movie I have been looking for five months.

Storyline (Copied from the IMDB page)
Believing the quote that you are born alone, die alone and everything else is an illusion, George doesn't see the point of life, school, or homework. Then he meets Sally and he now has a reason to go to school and make friends, even if he's not ready to admit to himself or to her that he likes her. The school's principal and art teacher introduce him to an alumni, and successful artist, Dustin, who can help guide George along life's path, but other distractions start surfacing, and George might not even be able to graduate from high school.

Review
The movie is a bit of a cliche, and is extremely predictable. It's one of those rom-coms that you could just say "Yes, they're soo going to end up together, she's going to leave her totally hot boyf and he's going to realize he loves her...", something like that. But still, there were amazing elements to the film that got rid of all the cliche-ness and the corniness. Like the fact that the main character, George (Freddie Highmore) had this shitload of homework to finish because of his believes in life. I think that the main character just has this honesty that is just so sad and lonely. He's extremely deep and wears a trenchcoat around the city.

As of the lead female, Sally (Emma Roberts), I was a bit hesitant to think that she had actually nailed the role. She was a bit shaky, and the chemistry was really just alright. I didn't really understand what kind of person she was, and she didn't send a clear message throughout the film.

Another stand out point is the art teacher (I don't remember what his name was). To make up for all the assignments he had missed for the whole year, he assigned George a painting. He said it could be of anything, anyone, anywhere, big or small, absolutely anything. The only condition was that it had to come straight from his heart, not something he just did because he had to do it. Whatever he had to say that he hadn't said before, he should express it into the painting. It had to be personal and real. Well obviously George painted Sally (I saw it coming). And also, in the class in the beginning of the film he told George to paint.
George: I have nothing to say.
Art Teacher: Then find something to say!!

I knew before that the film was going to be called "Homework", but was later changed to "The Art Of Getting By" for some sad reason. I honestly thing "Homework" is a much more appropriate title than "The Art Of Getting By", just because the whole story is mainly evolved around homework. The only reason he met Sally was because of his issues with teachers and work being done. But I can't do anything about the title anyways..

For those of you who have seen the film, I have have some questionable thoughts from some of the scenes in the movie. First of all, why was Sally laughing when they woke up at her house the night after the club? And did George's mother know that her husband didn't have a job?

So anyways, the film didn't turn out as quirky and lively as I expected it to be. Instead, it was kind of dark and mysterious with George's obsession with death and life. I liked it, and I highly recommend it to people who like watching teenagers obsess with weird things (I do). I enjoyed it a lot, and yeah, that's pretty much it.

Happy - Best Coast

Sorry for the long absence, I've been extremely busy lately. I've caught the flu, so I've been home for the past 3 days doing nothing but watching old episodes of Saved By the Bell. Today will be my 3rd day home, kept from daylight and civilization.

I'll post a playlist soon, before I leave so you readers out there will have something to feast on while I'm gone. As of now, my brain aches and my whole body feels like jelly. I think I've overdosed on Zack and Kelly drama.

I'm sorry for the crappy post, I'll get better.

Piazza, New York Catcher - Belle & Sebastian

Maybe it's a bit too late to make a 911 post, but here I am, making one. I'm not American. I wasn't in America when it happened. I was 4, a mere toddler with no knowledge of anything in the world. I remember the day it happened. It was around day time in Thailand, and I was watching tv with my Grandpa.
At first, I didn't know what it was, and how big an impact it would make. Honestly, I didn't really care. I asked my Grandpa what was going on, and my Grandmother was pacing around the room, worried. At that time, my uncles were living in America, and she called them to make sure they were okay.
I kept asking my Grandpa questions until he started to get irritated at me.
A few years later, I finally realized how big an impact that event was. Of course, none of us actually know what truly happened and the reasoning behind the attack. I've never been to New York before (I'm going there in a few weeks), but I really want to see the remains of the Twin Towers. The people's reactions. 10 years went by, and what has everyone been saying?
I recently finished a book called Love Is The Higher Law by David Levithan. In the book, it explores the aftershock affect of 3 teenagers living in New York City at the time of the attack. These 3 completely different people are brought together because of the event.
One of the main characters almost lost her mother to the accident. But then I thought to myself, what if I witnessed someone lose an important person in their life, or even be the witness myself? How would I react to this day, 10 years later?
10 years went by, and even though much has happened, the universe is still pretty much the same. Barack Obama became President, natural disasters, first Australian Prime Minister, suddenly everyone has iPods, Facebook, Michael Jackson's death, Osama Bin Laden's death, Amy Winehouse's death, swine flu, bird flu, I could just keep on going.
So here I am, across the world from New York. Not knowing, not hearing anything that happened. I could never know how bad it was. The world will never forget.

This isn't a very typical post, but yeah, I'll see you all soon.

8.9.11

King of the Beach - Wavves

tumblr
I'm exhausted, and once again, I'm not entirely sure why. I had a drama exam and a test, then sports right after school. I'm not the biggest sports fan though (I'm only good at 1 sport and that's the only one I actually do). So yeah, sports and I don't have a very strong relationship. I just don't have the magic to do well in any other sports! I thing someone jinxed me at birth, hmm, skeptical.

You should know that I've finally finished my playlist. Even though playlist-making is a long and time consuming process, it is possible to be completed within a short period of 2 days. I only finished it quick because I was in a good mood last night, so here it is,

Youth Tunes
1. King of the Beach - Wavves
2. That's Where You're Wrong - Arctic Monkeys
3. Bicycle - Unknown Mortal Orchestra
4. When'd You Find Me? (Ricky Eat Acid Remix) - Arrange
5. Boyfriend - Best Coast
6. Nothing to Worry About - Peter Bjorn and John
7. Scared But Not That Scared - 1,2,3
8. Half A Person - The Smiths
9. Tree Hugger - Antsy Pants
10. Last Legs - Army Navy
11. No More Running Away - Air Traffic
12. Vapour Trail - Ride

This playlist means quite a lot to me, and I'll probably expand it in the future as I discover new bands (and old ones) but yes, as of now, it's perfect just as it is. The flaws and oddness of this playlist is what makes it deserve the title. So let's live our youth to the fullest, and all that other cheesy quotes I won't even bother to think of. And I'm sorry for the photos - they're a bit random.
ciao

6.9.11

Half A Person - The Smiths

I am in extreme fatigue, and I don't really know what to do right now. School just finished, and I feel so busy - still. Yesterday, I picked up my developed photos. They turned out pretty well, considering half the roll didn't even develop properly and it was a complete waste (that's what happens when you drop your camera on the ground). $8 later and I was bussing back to my laptop and tea.

I have started a new playlist just then, and I think I'll finish it sometime later tonight. My "quiet time" is around 1 am. It's when the room goes silent, and I can hear the wind from outside through my earphones. But then my night would probably end with me singing "Jean" in the toilet and brushing my teeth at 11.

Well the playlist I started making is called "Youth Tunes", and will include songs that give you that deep nostalgic feeling of being young and carefree (even though I still very much am). I just had the urge to make one of those really deep playlists instead of the rather pointless (but still meaningful) ones I have made in the past. I often enjoy inventing soundtracks for books that should be movies - like The Perks Of Being A Wallflower when it was still a book.

I'm so happy because (just yesterday, I think) Rookiemag.com was released! I already love it so much!

The photo from the left is from Rookiemag.com, photographed by Petra Collins. The right is unknown, I found it on tumblr.

Hopefully I'll post the playlist soon!

Kissing The Lipless - The Shins

I am truly, extremely bored. There's absolutely nothing in my mind right now, thus making me have the urges to blog. So here I am, sitting in my room looking out the window in complete silence. I think the weather doubts me. It's cloudy, but there's still sun? What is this?? I'm so bored it's actually ridiculous. Procrastinating, procrastinating. Well anyways, I was looking through my hard drive for old photos. I dug up some good ones! Or at least I think they're good, but they're alright compared to the other photos I took. Looking at these give me a sad nostalgic feeling I'm not supposed to feel. It's probably because it's about to rain and my room is getting very dark.
Well I guess I should share it with you all, along with a caption and maybe a song (this sounds totally corny, doesn't it?). Well here goes!

Okay well I took this in a little alleyway in the City around a month ago. It's actually my favorite place in the world. It's so cute and happy, and it's got this warm vibe in it, I don't even...I don't know. It's so cosy! Anyways, I was in a really bad mood that very day so I just kept walking with my friend to this alleyway and bam! All the hatred and anger I had just went away to somewhere safe no one would be able to find.
Tanktop - Caroline Smith & The Goodnight Sleeps
(this song is from a BIRP! playlist, check it out, their playlists are ALWAYS good)

This one was taken sometime last year. That day, me and my roommates decided to go out and take pictures on the lawn since it was such a nice day! So yes, we went out and took some pretty memorable and embarrassing photos of ourselves. Nevertheless, it was a lovely afternoon! Back then, I wasn't into music as much as I am right now, so yes call me mainstream if you want to.
Angus & Julia Stone - Private Lawns

This was so long ago I don't actually remember taking this. Well it's a pretty decent photo considering my amateur skills. I'm not sure where I was, but I'm pretty sure it was taken from inside a car or a van or a bus or a vehicle of some sort. Isn't it perfect though? If I could go back in time, I would've jumped down from the car and jaywalked my way into that lovely place.
I don't think there would be a song to describe this photo.

I remember that day very clearly. It was with 2 friends (1 whom I am currently not friends with any longer, but yes, I should put the past behind me), and we were working on a History project. The day turned out to be a complete waste of time, as we ended up doing nothing but running around and taking photos. These daisies were pretty, and we started picking a pile out and just threw them around the backyard. Good times.
Waste - Foster the People

Okay, this is the last one. It was on a school event at Puffing Billy. It was a really nice day, considering the fact that I thought it was going to be VERY lame and boring and childish (I often underestimate the power of persuasion). It was great! We even crossed paths with Percy the Small Engine. Actually, I only took this photo to show it to my little sister who was the biggest Thomas fan.
Spirit Flows - Triptides

Well this is probably the first and only time I will post my own pictures, unless I feel like doing so again in the future. I'll probably do a song or an album review next week or so, so be excited! Anyways, I'm going to go make tea and study now, ciao!

The Only Boy Living In New York - Simon and Garfunkel

I honestly don't really know what to do right now. I should be studying, but I just don't feel like it. I think I have finally mastered the art of procrastinating. I just feel like making a blog post right now. No one would know how much I want to visit New York. Anyways, this was made at 2 am in the morning, so just ignore the weird bits and pieces that don't really belong there. And just a warning, there's a fair bit of The Smiths included, probably because I have a wide collection of them on my iTunes.

The Day I Move To New York!
1. 1901 - Phoenix
2. Young Folks - Peter Bjorn and John
3. This Charming Man - The Smiths
4. Piazza, New York Catcher - Belle & Sebastian
5. JEJUNE - Air Drops
6. BwooKlyn - Poor Spirits
7. There is A Light That Never Goes Out - The Smiths
8. Show Me What I'm Looking For - Carolina Liar
9. The Trial Of The Century - French Kicks
10. Tarantula/Holding On - Delay Trees
11. Falling - Ben Kweller
12. The Skin Of My Yellow Country Teeth - Clap Your Hands Say Yeah
13. Still Ill - The Smiths
14. Young Folks - Peter Bjorn and John
15. Constellating - James & Evander
16. Asleep - The Smiths

Shuffle - Bombay Bicycle Club

I know the photos are WAY out of scale, but I am still trying to figure out the solution to this problem and what I can do about it. Anyways, I really love these photos I found while browsing through Jak&Jil. I really love the color theme going on here. Really bright, vibrant colors. They contrast with the clothes. Anyways, it seems as if the Spring 2011 colors have been more pastel/soft colors. Or maybe I'm just being delusional and not very up-to-date.

Anyways, I have been quite bored lately. Spring is coming and it already feels like Summer. The weather was so nice today, and I had the urge to just walk around in my Summer uniform, even though the school insists we wear our Winter uniform for another 4 weeks of school. Until then, I spend my days reminiscing about Spring and how lovely the season is. There's just something about the season that makes me feel happy and joyful. I just don't like it when it's gloomy and raining all the time. I blame the weather for making me a less affable fellow to everyone else.
Well anyways, I'm getting very lazy so I really can't be bothered doing any song reviews. I plan to do some in the future!

Recharge & Revolt - The Ravoneottes

A few days ago I purchased the album Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not by the one and only Arctic Monkeys. They are my favorite band, and I now have 3 of their 4 albums. I usually download songs off the internet - despite my stinginess. But it was on sale for only $9! Besides, a lovely friend bought it for me using a voucher, so it was technically free. I've had the whole album on my itunes for a while anyways, but the quality was pretty shite.
So here I am, listening to the Smiths on a Sunday evening and trying to study. I have my SSATs' in exactly a month and I'm both nervous and anxious to take it. I get distracted extremely easily, and I can't seem to stop myself. I was also broswing through eBay looking for new white chuck taylors that are for sale under $50. Everything that seems to succeed all of my expectations end up having either 1) No shipping outside the US or 2) A shipping price over $10. I'll just have to wait till I go home and get even cheaper ones with no shipping prices or anything bizarre like that.
I've recently purchased a few clothing items but I'll post pictures later because I'm feeling very lazy right now (my laptop is on top of a stack of books). I'll continue my night, jamming to The Smiths and instant ramen at 7 pm.

Yes, this is the awkward ending I will always do. Night.

why hello there

Well this is supposed to be my first blog post. I would like to say, I’m not a very good blogger, for I have tried and failed multiple times and the blogs I try have always ended up in disappointing disasters. I don’t think I want to mention those blog names so yeah, I don’t want this one to end up like the other ones. My blog is looking a bit horrible right now, because I haven’t been using blogspot for a very long time and I kind of forgot all its functions.

So I’m sitting here, watching the first Princess Diaries by myself in bed on a Saturday night. It’s always been one of my favourite movies. I really don’t understand the point of making a movie adaptation from a book and then changing the whole plot. I’ve read the whole series (Yes, don’t judge) and I’ve watched both the movies. Some might argue that the books were great, but I don’t think I can agree. I liked the first one, but the sequel was a bit of a nightmare. I’ve always wanted to live in a city like San Francisco. They have trams just like Melbourne, but it seems much more - what’s the word – nice. Remember the keyboards with M&Ms’? The makeover? The sorbet? The ‘Princess lessons’? The ongoing joke on the finger broken off the statue? I think my eyesight has been permanently destroyed since I have been sitting here for an hour or so in the dark staring at my laptop. I’ve admired the movie for a long time, and I don’t think I can ever hate it despite its flaws.

Well yes, this is it my first post for this blog, and I don’t have anything else to say. I hope I everyone enjoys reading my blog!
